Automatic bathroom faucets have battery operated or electrically powered sensors that detect motion near the faucets and trigger the water to flow. The sensors could be found either at the base of the faucet or on its head. Some sensors have the capability to change the temperature of the water. You merely sway your hand at the left side of the sensor to make the water warmer. If the temperature of the water is warm, you pass your hand at the right side to activate a cooler water flow.

What is a Vessel Sink?
Vessel sinks are a very interesting variation on the traditional porcelain and ceramic plumbing fixtures that many people are used to. They differ from most traditional versions because they are installed differently. Most are made to drop in the counter or they are under-mounted. A vessel styled fixture is essentially a container that that holds the water hence the name vessel. It is either mounted on top of the counter or is partially recessed in the counter. The look is very noticeable and offers a chance to choose a model that is closer to one’s personal style.
