A vanity top is used to hold a wash hand basin and also provide a counter. This is used in bathrooms where the wash hand basin is not wall mounted or held by a pedestal. Timber is easy to use but has limitation due to the absorption of water, therefore its life span may not be long. The other materials can withstand water.
